Quality and accreditation
We provide the highest quality care to patients and continually strive to improve the patient experience. Further details can be found in the individual service sections of the site.
The Trust is registered with the Care Quality Commission which sets out the essential standards of quality and safety to be provided to patients. The CQC has never been less than satisfied with the quality of every aspect of the care we provide. The Trust has also achieved NHS Litigation Authority Level 3 accreditation for risk management – the highest level there is – in it’s two most recent assessments. Furthermore, we were awarded the Dr Foster Hospital Guide Trust of the Year for London in 2013, for our lower than expected mortality rates.
We are the only trust in England to be rated as ‘better than expected’ for all four key mortality indicators.
With regular audits and strict hygiene standards, we work hard to keep our patients safe. We place great importance on reducing the risk of infection for our patients, visitors and staff.
